Soup Starter (canned, in the video)
1/4 lb chicken
1/2 cup carrots
1/4 cup celery
Broth filled to top of jar (just about 3 cups)
Salt and Pepper to taste
Whole “BIG FAMILY” Chicken Dumpling Soup-
1 Quart of Soup starter (recipe above)
2 Quarts Chicken Broth
2 Cups Celery
2 Cups Carrots
Salt and season to taste
for the dumplings- we used 9 eggs, 1/3 cup buttermilk and about 2 1/2 cups all purpose flour *see video for this part, the measurements are not exact. It’s more of a consistency thing than an exact measurement.
